Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words whose initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural form.

Definitions

• Account — a unique account created for you to access our Service or parts of our Service.
• Application — the software application provided for access through an electronic device, including the Scheme Implementation, Tribal Welfare ID Card, and Ainthinai-Uzhavar applications.

Personal Data

Tribal Welfare ID Card

For this service, information may additionally include:

• Name in English and Tamil
• Mobile number
• Aadhaar-related information
• Family Card Number
• Address details and Community information
• Bank account information
• Uploaded certificates and documents
• Application acknowledgement information

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service, and may include:

• Device IP address, browser type and version
• Pages visited, date/time of visits, time spent on pages
• Unique device identifiers and operating system information
• Mobile device information and diagnostic information
• Other technical information necessary for maintaining and improving the Service

When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may automatically collect the type of mobile device, mobile device identifier, IP address, operating system, mobile browser type, and other diagnostic information.

Tribal Welfare Services

For the Tribal Welfare ID Card application, information may be used to:

• Verify applicant eligibility
• Generate Tribal ID Cards
• Process application updates and track application status
• Generate print receipts
• Provide secure OTP verification
• Communicate application alerts
• Improve system security

OTP Verification

For account security, an OTP may be sent to the registered mobile number during login, registration, or application processing. OTP information is used for authentication and security purposes only.

Document Uploads

Applicants using applicable welfare services may upload identity documents, community certificates, bank-related documents, and other supporting records. Uploaded documents are securely handled and may be accessed by authorized personnel for verification and approval processes.

Information Sharing

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

• With Service Providers — where necessary to facilitate, monitor, analyze, or support the Service.
• With Affiliates — where applicable, subject to appropriate privacy obligations.
• With Business Partners — where necessary for services associated with the Service.

Application Tracking & QR Verification

The Tribal Welfare ID Card system may generate application acknowledgement numbers and QR verification records for authentication and verification purposes. QR codes contain only the necessary reference information required for verification.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements and policies
• Maintain administrative records
• Support Service functionality and maintain security

Usage Data may generally be retained for a shorter period unless required for security, service improvement, or legal purposes.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed at the Company's operating offices and other locations where parties involved in processing are located.
